Sheila Brown brings a unique combination of skills to her practice. Her approachable manner, combined with her experience in clinical and managerial positions, allows her to deal with many issues confronting individuals, couples and families in both their personal and professional lives. Sheila’s practice is focused on helping people through many different life transitions to facilitate change and new directions. Sheila is an Accredited Mediator who specializes in work with families and children who are experiencing separation/divorce. In addition to mediating parenting plans, Sheila provides training and leadership in the ongoing development of Collaborative Practice and works as a Neutral Facilitator, Coach and Child Specialist. Sheila also offers a range of counselling services to individuals, couples, and families. Sheila has instructed in the Family Mediation Program at McMaster University and has extensive experience supervising clinical work in children’s mental health centres and providing consultation to multidisciplinary teams.
